Job Title: Client Services Representative (Teller) – various locations

Job Description:

The position of CSR I or II is responsible for performing (Level I) routine or (Level II) intermediate to advanced branch and customer services duties such as accepting checking and savings deposits; processing loan payments; cashing checks and making savings withdrawals; and promoting business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services. In addition CSR II is responsible for assisting with night depository and may train and support less experienced CSRs and other staff members. The position of CSR II should be able to assist in the areas of Personal Banker, CSR, vault, safe deposit and branch operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). One (1) year of related (Teller) experience is preferred. Work related experience should consist of cash handling and/or customer service background, preferably in a Financial Institution. Work related experience should consist of financial institution cash handling and customer service background. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related. Experience Knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, and other Bank operational policies and skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; mainframe computer (ITI) system; and word processing and spreadsheet software (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) are required. Typing skills to meet production needs of the position. Basic math skills including the ability to calculate interest and balance accounts, and meet the needs of the position as well as count currency and coin accurately and efficiently and handle other standard negotiable instruments in a timely manner. Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, and speak clearly to customers and employees. The ability to deal with routine problems involving multiple facets and variables in standardized situations. Effective organizational and time management skills. Ability to work with general supervision while performing duties.
