Affordable Housing

Bank of Nevada is committed to facilitating home ownership for individuals in all segments of our community while maintaining safe and sound banking practices. Bank of Nevada developed the "Home Is Where the Heart Is" mortgage program targeted to people earning 80% or less of HUD area median income. The program offers flexible underwriting and low down payment requirements. In addition, the bank assists low- and moderate-income residents to purchase homes by providing grant funds of up to $5,000 for down payment assistance to a limited number of qualified applicants.

Community Development Lending

Our Community Lending efforts assist for-profit and not-for-profit developers of multifamily affordable housing. Through competitively priced products such as our construction-to-permanent loan product and letter of credit enhancement products, Community Lending helps to ensure that developers have a vehicle to produce affordable rental housing with sustained long-term affordability in and throughout the neighborhoods and communities where we do business.

Employee Volunteer Program - Bank Employees for a Strong Tomorrow (B.E.S.T.)

The B.E.S.T employee volunteer program was created to encourage employees to participate in philanthropic opportunities for the benefit of making our community a better place to live, work and learn. Employees have given their time, talent, and resources to various non-profit organizations by providing financial education and mentoring, participating in walks, food drives and blood drives, and being involved in other community service activities.
