Bank of Nevada CEO Bruce Hendricks announced today that John Guedry has been named President and Chief Operating Officer. A former senior executive with City National Bank and veteran Las Vegas Banker, Guedry is a 37-year resident of Las Vegas and is well known in the business and civic community. Following City National Bank Guedry most recently served as Managing Director with CB Richard Ellis, until assuming his new position with Bank of Nevada.
“I am delighted to have John join our management team at this time as our momentum for growth is increasing,” said Hendricks. “John brings another resume of excellence to our already strong veteran team of senior management. His experience, successful track record and active role in the Las Vegas community are a natural fit for us and he will be a key asset as we continue to grow.”
Guedry will be primarily responsible for the bank’s business development and sales activities reporting to CEO Bruce Hendricks. Hendricks will continue oversight of all bank administration.

A graduate of UNLV, Guedry began his banking career with Valley Bank of Nevada in 1985 where he served in increasing roles of responsibility leading to his position as Vice President/Sales Manager. In 1990, he joined Nevada Title Company as President REIS and EVP/Sales Manager until 1997. He then was named Executive Vice President/Director of Retail Banking for Community Bank of Nevada until joining Business Bank of Nevada in 2000 as CEO. In 2007, Business Bank was acquired by City National where he served in a senior management role until 2009 when he joined CB Richard Ellis.
Guedry is highly regarded in the community for his active involvement in community and banking industry service. Among his numerous activities, he was past Chairman and Board member of the Nevada Bankers Association and past board member of the local American Heart Association and Opportunity Village. He currently serves as a Board Member of Woman’s Development Center and Public Education Foundation and is a member of the Las Vegas Bowl Executive Committee.
